Guided exhibition tour
Limited capacity – sign up required

The permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb is conceived as a thematic and chronological cross-section of the Prehistoric, Classical, Egyptian, Medieval and Numismatic collections. Among the many objects testifying to everyday life, religious rituals, conflicts and loves, and to the artistic and technological achievements of ancient societies, particular mention should be made of the striking Egyptian mummy with the Zagreb Linen Book, the medieval inscription bearing the name of Duke Branimir, the celebrated Vučedol Dove and the Woman from Salona, a supreme achievement of Roman portrait art.
