Expert Guided Tour of the Museum Mine
Guided exhibition tour
Limited capacity – sign up required
Located in the underground premises of the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum is a life-size model of a coal and metal mine, with a total length of more than 300 metres and a maximum depth of six metres. The mine is an exceptionally valuable museum display, faithfully recreating a mining horizon for the extraction of coal, iron ore, bauxite, as well as lead, zinc and silver ores. It features all types of mine supports used in mining, presented in the full range of materials (wood, metal, brick, reinforced concrete, etc.) and forms. The expert guided tour of the museum mine offers visitors a unique experience of a mid-20th-century mine.
