Curator-led tour of the exhibition “Travelers”

Guided exhibition tour
Limited capacity – sign up required

In the exhibition “Travelers” we will follow the journeys of people and objects from colonial times to the present day and examine the circumstances in which the Collection of Non-European Cultures was formed. What connects Dragutin Lerman with the colonial project of the Belgian King Leopold II? What did Tibor Sekelj do in Australia, and what did he do on Aconcagua, the highest peak of South America? What did Joža and Renata Horvat bring back from Papua New Guinea on their sailing boat Besa? What links Milka Trnina with the American collector William Bigelow? Find out the answers to these and many other questions in conversation with the exhibition’s author!
