At the Ethnographic Museum’s exhibition “Intimate Spaces of Everyday Life”, furniture from the collection is being displayed for the first time, mostly dating from the 19th to the mid-20th century, alongside contemporary artistic interpretations. These works offer a provocative perspective on the various modalities of human intimate spaces, as well as on the diversity of representation and the complex meanings of everyday objects from a female perspective. Everyday items carry deep personal significance and are connected to current social issues and themes, such as migration and heritage preservation.
