Exercises in Freehand Drawing
Workshop
Limited capacity – sign up required

This art workshop is based on the museum exhibits found in the Paris Room of the Croatian School Museum. The magnificent display cases house portfolios of the finest student works from various Zagreb schools of the 19th century. These beautifully presented portfolios, showcased at the 1900 Paris World Exhibition, contain outstanding examples of freehand drawing.
The quality of these works reflects the great effort and knowledge once devoted to art education. Workshop participants will have a unique opportunity to browse through an entire album of student drawings, select one, and recreate it as a souvenir to take home.
The workshop is intended for primary and secondary school students, ages 7 to 14.
