Closing of MUV 2026

MUV on site

This year’s Zagreb Museum Weekend comes to a close on Sunday, September 6, 2026, with a music programme in the courtyard of the Zagreb City Museum, starting at 8:00 PM. The MUV closing event will feature DJ Glazbena kuhinja and the band Filmmusicorkestar, performing popular Croatian songs with a special focus on Zagreb songwriters — from music featured in One Song a Day Takes Mischief Away to hits by Novi fosili.

Just like at the opening, the finale will be preceded by a special warm-up: from 6:00 PM, the museum will present a special edition of Living Pictures, one of the Zagreb City Museum’s most recognisable programmes. Ten figures from Zagreb’s history and legends will be brought to life, including King Béla IV and Queen Mary, the Black Queen, Dora Krupićeva, Countess Nera, Zagorka, Ban Jelačić and others.
