Atrium live: Živ, živ, živ
Atrium Live is a programme cycle in which guest theatre companies perform in the atrium of the Croatian Natural History Museum, turning it into a living stage platform open to different theatrical poetics and performance approaches. The programme brings a series of short performances that alternate in the rhythm of space and time, creating a dynamic and diverse cultural experience.
At the heart of the programme is the encounter of contemporary and classical theatrical expression, in which each performance interprets its own stage language while also entering into active dialogue with the museum’s architecture. The atrium, as a specific interior space open to the sky, becomes more than a stage – it is an integral part of the dramaturgy, shaping the atmosphere, rhythm and perception of the performance.
The programme also encourages a diversity of theatrical forms – from dramatic miniatures and physical theatre to experimental and interdisciplinary performances. Each guest company brings its own interpretation of the space, so that the atrium is continuously reinterpreted and transformed into a changing stage matrix.
