Prigorje Museum
Sesvete
The Prigorje Museum was founded in 1977. in Sesvete, and is located in a late Baroque manor house from the 18th century. century. Its holdings consist of archaeological finds from the Kuzelin site, objects from the prehistoric, Roman and medieval periods, and collections related to the modern history of the region. The ethnographic collection contains textiles, ceramics and wooden objects, and the art collection includes around three hundred works, mostly by local artists. The museum researches, preserves and interprets the cultural heritage of the eastern part of Zagreb – the Sesvete Hills. It offers visitors a glimpse into the layered past of this region, told through objects, stories, and space.
