A Walk Through Bollé’s Zagreb
Cultural city walk
Limited capacity – sign up required
Through the walk, participants are introduced to Herman Bollé’s architectural projects and renovations in Zagreb, that is, to the historicist architecture that surrounds us every day. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the significance of the 1880 earthquake and the consequent need to preserve and restore heritage architecture, as well as to construct new, representative buildings of a modern city.
The walk begins at the Well of Life, with a view of the Museum of Arts and Crafts, and ends at the cathedral.
