Extended Festival

Soliloquy is a movement practice and choreographic project that studies the ghosts carried by the body. It functions both as a practice taught in workshops and classes and as a series of performances. Each performance is different but rooted in the practice, carries its own date in the title and responds to a particular place and to the presences embodied within it. For the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, a new iteration takes place as a durational performance. The dancer creates offerings of movement addressed to those present and to the figures that shaped her, including the ghost villages of the Carpathians, distant ancestors and the surrounding environment. Visitors may enter and leave at any point during the performance.
