Extended Festival: Workshop “The Extended Language of the Body”
“The Extended Language of the Body” is a long-term research project by the artist, performer and educator Josipa Bubaš. Through the presentation of the project, interested participants will have the opportunity to gain insight into the working methodology and into the process and experiences that arose during the research. The presentation is conceived in two parts:
1 / a two-hour workshop in which participants gain insight into the methodology,
2 / a presentation of the research in which we immerse ourselves in the processes of the performers Ivana Ognjanovac, Ivana Pedljo, Mia Štark and Sindri Uču.
The project “The Extended Language of the Body” deals with extended cognition, with the interplay of senses, movement, associations, imagination, thought and language. We dive into the connections and the fissures between thought and sensation, body and surroundings. We notice, discover and play with new possibilities of perception.
