Extended Festival: Martin Hargreaves – Perhaps I Have No Time I Have No Time Perhaps

The performance is a six-hour lecture on theories of performativity. Borrowing Jacques Derrida’s insistence on the parasitism of performativity and working with the promising threats of Mladen Stilinović’s language, this lecture examines the event of performance and the temporality of speech acts. It will deal with expected delays, unfulfilled promises, unsatisfied seduction, failed seriousness and unmet demands.
