Guided Tour of the Permanent Exhibition of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb
Guided exhibition tour
Limited capacity – sign up required

Walk through millennia of human history – from prehistoric cultures to the Middle Ages – and uncover the stories behind the most valuable objects in the Prehistoric, Ancient, Egyptian, Medieval, and Numismatic collections. Discover the daily life, beliefs, artistic achievements, and technological advances of ancient societies, and reveal the contexts in which these exceptional works were created.

You will see an Egyptian mummy with the Zagreb Linen Book, a medieval inscription bearing the name of Duke Branimir, the iconic Vučedol Dove, and the Solinjanka – a masterpiece of Roman portraiture. Expert guidance will reveal the meanings, symbolism, and fascinating details that make these exhibited objects living witnesses of the past.
