During the author-led tour of the exhibition “Intimate Spaces of Everyday Life”, visitors will discover fascinating details about the furnishing of traditional homes, the symbolism behind furniture decorations, wedding customs, and the roles of women and children within families and society. They will also get to see unusual household appliances from the 1940s and explore seventeen inspiring personal stories about private spaces and daily rituals.
